Juvéderm® Treatment
Juvéderm® is the smooth gel filler that your doctor uses to smooth away wrinkles around your mouth and nose. With just one treatment, you’ll get smooth and natural-looking results that last up to a year.
Juvéderm® is manufactured using HYLACROSS™ technology, creating a smooth-consistency gel. It is infused with lidocaine to improve comfort during treatment. With Juvéderm®, you get the smooth results you expect, with the improved comfort you want.
Where does it work?
The Juvéderm® Collection of fillers are typically used to rejuvenate men and women’s age-related facial concerns. The Juvéderm® FDA-approved products are extremely versatile hyaluronic fillers that can be used to treat a number of different areas on the face including the well-known cosmetic uses of volumizing the face and reducing vertical lip lines and marionette lines around the mouth.
Each patient is different but Dr. Katherine Hein typically recommends:
- Voluma® for the upper face (tear troughs and cheeks) as well as for chin augmentation.
- Volbella® or Juvéderm® Ultra XC for the lips.
- Vollure® or Juvéderm® Ultra XC for the nasolabial lines and corners of the mouth.
But did you know that Juvéderm® Ultra XC can be used to correct mild to moderate imperfections of the nose? This non-surgical nose job (rhinoplasty) is a new alternative now available to patients interested in correcting nose bumps/lumps and crooked noses. Dr. Hein can skillfully address these concerns without surgery!
